Keystone 10s, 11s part of Little League Grand Slam Parade

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Keystone 10-year-old Little League baseball team and 11-year-old softball team had the ride of their young lives Tuesday evening, part of the mammoth Grand Slam Little League Parade through downtown Williamsport, the kickoff for the annual Little League World Series.

Keystone baseball was part of the parade as District 12 and Section 3 champions and a competitive participant at the 10-year-old Pennsylvania Little League state tournament last month. The 11-year-old girls were representatives as the District 12 champs.

League officials thanked Lock Haven’s Citizens Hose Company for providing the vehicle to tow the flatbed carrying the Keystone players.

The Little League World Series starts Wednesday and runs through Aug. 30.
